Our watchmaking process

THE PROCESS

FROM IDEA TO PERFECTION

HOW IS IT DONE?

How is a watch made? From scratch to the watch on your wrist.

Monarte stands behind each timepiece that we produce.

01

Rendering and modelling

Firstly, the watch is designed on a computer and is then printed out as a 3D model. This enables us to see the watch first hand, before going to the next step.

02

Protoype

After the mockup is acceptable, the prototype is made. Prototypes are made to check if everything was made and calculated properly. Every screw and every small piece must do its’ part, otherwise, the watch doesn’t work perfectly in harmony.

03

Quality control

The protoype works. It’s time for the quality control. Each and every watch we make goes through multi-day, painstaking inspection made by watchmakers and machines to ensure absolute perfection with every timepiece we produce.

Yes, even the prototypes.

04

Factory production

After the watch passes every angle of our quality control, testing and in-house regulations, we make a bigger production. That means the next production is much higher standard than the prototypes and goes under even more QC, inspection and testing.

Our mass production usually does not go over 500 pieces per production.

05

Finished product

Finally, the Monarte watch is made. The whole process takes about 6 months.

Still after all the testing, quality control, inspection and in-house regulations, Monarte offers 5-year warranty on each timepiece that you own.
